| Please remember that my dogs are my family pets. My puppies are raised in my home and are a part of the family. A puppy is a lifetime commitment. I am committed to my puppies and will always take them back if you can no longer keep them for any reason - please be prepared to make that kind of commitment yourself. Poodles are wonderful dogs, who don't shed, are very smart and trainable - but they do require attention, companionship and a lot of grooming. They live a long time. This means years of loyal companionship - but it also means years of considering your dog when making changes in your life. All my dogs are tested prior to breeding. Minis are DNA tested through Optigen for PRCD-PRA. They receive CERF examinations for their eyes and OFA evaluations of their knees. Standards undergo thyroid screening, DNA testing for vWD and OFA evaluation of their hips. Breeding poodles means making a serious commitment (there's that word again) to the betterment of the breed - including health issues. Puppies have a guarantee against genetic health defects. The disease must be confirmed by two veterinarians, one of your choice and one of mine, and I should be contacted before treatment is undertaken. I will do my very best to bring you a healthy, happy, socialized, beautiful poodle puppy - and you must agree to do your very best to offer him/her a lifetime home with love and care.
